1. The set you choose
Classic extensions — one extension per natural lash — are the entry point. Hybrid blends classic with handmade fans for texture. Volume and mega volume build fuller looks from multiple ultralight extensions per natural lash — more artistry, more time in the chair, higher price. A volume set can take twice the work of a classic set, and the price reflects the hours, not a markup.
2. Who’s applying them
Our menu has three artist levels — Stylist, Senior Stylist, and Clementina Richardson herself. Same products, same standards; what you’re choosing is years of hands-on experience. Every artist here was trained by her — the level is about seniority, not a difference in safety or care. A worked example: a Natural Glam set runs $175 with a Stylist, $225 with a Senior Stylist, and $350 with Clementina.
3. Time and customization
A full set takes anywhere from 40 minutes to two and a half hours of one-on-one work, depending on the set. Before anything is applied, your artist maps the set to your eye shape and the condition of your natural lashes. That mapping is the difference between lashes that suit you and lashes that just look like lashes — and it’s included, not an upsell.
4. New York itself
Midtown Manhattan rent, licensed artists, single-use tools, and medical-grade adhesives all cost more here than almost anywhere in the country. A $49 lash deal exists in this city — but the corners that price cuts are usually time (rushed application), sanitation, or your natural lashes. Damage from overloaded, poorly isolated extensions costs far more to recover from than the difference in price.
What the ongoing cost looks like
Extensions aren’t a one-time purchase — as your natural lashes shed, the set thins. Most clients book a refill every two to three weeks, which runs $75 to $360 depending on the set and timing. Refills are the real cost of ownership, and they’re where an experienced artist saves you money: a well-applied set holds longer between fills.
